Who are you? What is this? These are likely the questions you are asking if you hit the “About” tab. Since the first one is really hard, allow me to skip to the second. Perhaps we will make our way back to the first in time.
What is this? This is mostly a place of devotional thoughts, emotions I feel when reading the Bible. The Bible is emotional because it’s filled with people enduring triumph and tragedy and loss and fulfillment. And people are emotional because their Maker is emotional. So a book on emotionals interacting with the Emotional is sure to change you. Though only if you believe it, which I happen to.
I count myself lucky to believe it though, because belief is something that happens to you. I hope it happens to you too. The only way I know how to prod belief along is to gaze at God and wait for sight. You can ask Him for it too. That’s been know to work.
Sight is a gift, but if I can help at all with the gazing part, then I am pleased. Gazing is how I finally saw, and when you do see there is no passage back to the blindness. All is color and life and opportunity, and God is here and alive and loving you into an eternal country for which you always longed. I do hope it happens to you too.
My name is John and here lies my thoughts on God and life. I’m happy you’re here.
